The C-1000

The C-1000 Public Wheelchair Lift is a fully enclosed vertical elevator. The design stems from Access 2000's vision of a reliable, safe, easy to use, and above all, high quality means of access in any multi-level public building.

The C-1000 requires a shallow pit and uses a single stage hydraulic cylinder coupled with an industry leading true 2 speed weight compensating valve that provides smooth and accurate leveling every time. As well the hydraulic pump and motor are submersed in the oil reservoir for whisper quiet operation.

The newly designed cab of the C-1000 is constructed using top quality 3/4" thick laminated wall panels, available in a wide variety of colors. All trim, reveals, and structural members in the cab are constructed of the highest quality aluminum extrusions. Standard flooring is 3/8" durable non-slip rubber on top of a welded structural steel & 3/4" plywood sub-platform.

The control system consists of Access 2000's own CSA/UL approved programmable logic controller, auto transfer emergency back-up power, hall call stations and car operating station. The automatic on/off lighting in the cab is supplied by a double 4ft flourescent fixture over Access 2000's "Sunshine Ceiling".

The standard landing entrances for the C-1000 are 36" x 80" flush style 1.5 hour fire rated swing-type steel doors. Each door comes with a GAL interlock and a 2 speed closer (power doors are optional).

A variety of standard platform configurations, as well as Access 2000's capabilities as a custom manufacturer, allows us to find a workable and affordable solution to almost any situation.
